Hello, this is Dr. Bowman! If you're like me and sometimes you'd rather read summaries than watch a long interview, I've created 5 summaries to The Wellness Hour episode I have the pleasure of being featured in.

If you're suffering from multiple broken, painful, missing, or embarrassing teeth, I strongly encourage you to make the time to read these summaries and/or watch these videos, because my full arch implant process has changed many lives.  Their lives changed in many more important ways than just getting their teeth back.  Their lives improved in ways they never expected.  Watch the first video above to find out how!

Video Summary: Replacing Missing Teeth with Dental Implants – with Dr. Peter Bowman, Walpole,NH

If you’re living with missing teeth, painful teeth, or dentures that never quite feel  right — you’re not alone. In this in-depth Wellness Hour interview, I share how modern dental implant treatment is transforming lives for patients from  throughout Southern Vermont and Southern New Hampshire.
Dental implants don’t just restore your smile — they give you back your confidence, your comfort, and your life.

Who Are the Typical Full-Arch Implant Patients We See?
At Bowman Dental, we tend to see two main types of patients who are ready for full-arch dental implants:
1) Denture wearers who are fed up — tired of slipping plates, sore gums, adhesives, and embarrassment.
2) People with broken, painful, or missing teeth who know they’re heading toward dentures but want to avoid them at all costs.

Both groups share a common goal: they want teeth that feel natural again. In the video, I explain that “denture wearers are very common here in New England — but that doesn’t mean you have to live with a denture forever.”

“I Think I’m Too Old for Implants” — this is the biggest misconception
This is one of the most common myths I hear. Many people assume implants are only for younger adults, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. What matters most is overall health, not age.

My oldest implant patient was over 98 years old when he got his implants. He's been my patient for years and I love to hear him tell me about his experiences in the Battle of The Bulge during World War II.

He decided he was done struggling with loose dentures and wanted to enjoy his meals again — and more importantly, make the best of his remaining years. With his implants, he’s thriving.

So, if you’ve ever thought, “I’m too old for implants,” I can tell you confidently — you’re not.

What Dental Implants Really Do for Your Life?
Implants don’t just give you teeth back — they give you your life back.
My patients often describe the change as “getting my confidence back,” or “feeling like my younger self again.” They laugh freely, smile in photos, and enjoy foods they haven’t eaten in years, and they find themselves more active than ever.

When your mouth feels normal again, it impacts everything — your posture, your confidence, your social life, even how you look and feel every morning.

“I Was Told I Don’t Have Enough Bone for Implants”
We hear this a lot — and in most cases, it’s simply not true anymore. Advances in digital technology, 3D imaging, and implant design have opened doors that didn’t exist a decade ago.
Even if you’ve been told elsewhere that you “don’t have enough bone,” I encourage you to see me for a consultation. We can often use angled implants, grafting, and digital planning to create a stable foundation for your new teeth.

Modern implant dentistry gives us solutions that weren’t possible before — and that’s why we’re able to help so many people who thought they were out of options.

“Aren’t Dental Implants Too Expensive?”
That’s another common misconception. Many patients picture needing 10 or 12 implants per jaw — but in most full-arch cases, we only need four to six implants per arch to support an entire set of fixed teeth.
This not only makes the procedure more efficient but also far more affordable than most people expect.
When you compare the long-term value — no more relines, adhesives, or replacements — dental implants are one of the best investments you can make in your health and happiness.
